MARRIED. -- At the residence of the bride's parents, in this city, on Tuesday eve., the 2lst inst., MR. WILL JARVIS, of Burlington to MISS AMELIA L. BAILEY, Rev. J.W. Todd officiating.
The pleasant social event was not unlooked for, as various rumors were afloat for weeks past, that the fair Amelia was preparing to become the bride of one of Burlington's gallant sons, and now that the happy event is over, all will join in extending to the loving couple their true wishes for a long life of married bliss.
The Leader fraternity acknowledge the receipt of choice portions of the wedding cake.
