I am searching for information about John Workman, b: 7 June 1833 in Wheeling West Virginia d: 6 March 1920 in
Marshalltown, Iowa, buried in Perry, Iowa. His oldest son David D. Workman listed his father and mother as being from
Pennsylvania,in the 1925 Dallas co., Iowa census.

He married Frances Melissa Vanata on 28 June 1864 in Pennsylvania. Frances was b:25 Oct. 1838 in Pa., d: 1 Sept 1893 in
Perry.

Their children were David D., Frederick Irvin, Nancy Bell, Walker, Mary, and Phoebe. I believe all were born in Aledo Ill. But
at some time there was a move to Iowa and most of the siblings ended up in or near Perry. John is my g-grandfather and
Frederick is my grandfather.

Chuck Workman
