Willard and Gladys Simpson. Des Moines, Iowa

Hopefully, someone might be able to help in locating some information concerning a Lady whose first name is Gladys, Surname is unknown, who originated some where in the Des Moines Iowa area. In the early 1950's, probably 1953, Gladys married one Willard Monroe Simpson, age at the time was about 75 years old. Gladys's age is unknown. Willard was an engineer on the Rock Island railroad, and he ran from Trenton to Des Moines for a number of years. Willard lived in Trenton, Grundy Co. Missouri and I think they were married and lived somewhere in Iowa, probably Des Moines area. Anyway they were married only a short time when Gladys died and Willard moved back to Trenton. I presume Gladys might have been buried in or near Des Moines. Any information concerning Gladys and Willard would be appreciated.
Thanks
Claude Crandall
