I am seeking information on a JS York that had a business in Dallas around 1890 and died around 1897.(fought in Conf Civil War) I would like to know more about this. He was supposed to be there as a shoemaker. Where was the shop? Was it his and in his name? Did he die there, where is he buried? Did he have a son at the time who lived with him named Alford Newton York. I am seeking any information on JS (or JF York) and on Alford Newton York. Thanks
