HARRY F. KAACK, physician and surgeon at Clinton, is a native of Iowa, and
has been engaged in the routine of a practicing physician for twenty years.
Doctor Kaack was born at Dewitt, Iowa, October 2, 1881, son of Herman and
Fredericks (Bolte) Kaack. His parents were natives of Germany, his mother
having been brought to this country by her parents when she was eight years of
age. Herman Kaack located at Davenport when he was nineteen, and was a farmer
in Dewitt Township, where he reared his family, comprising Dr. Harry F., John and Tillie Kaack.
Doctor Kaack was graduated from the Dewitt High School and pursued his
medical studies in the Hahnemann Medical College of Chicago, where he was
graduated in 1910. The first year he practiced with Dr. John Waggoner at Dewitt, and
for seven and a half years at Elvira. He has been located in the larger
City of Clinton since 1918. Here he has built up a large general practice, and
is looked upon as one of the very capable men of his profession. He is a
member of the Clinton County, Iowa State and American Medical Associations and
the American Institute of Homeopathy, the State Homeopathic and Rock River
Institute of Homeopathy. Doctor Kaack is a Republican in politics, is a
thirty-second degree Scottish Rite Mason, a member of the Woodmen of the World, and is
a Methodist.

He married, June 25, 1913, Ellen E. Beall, daughter of Albert E. and Cora
(Worster) Beall. Her father, a native of Maryland, was a salesman. Her mother
was born at Adel, Iowa, and is now a widow, living with Doctor and Mrs.
Kaack. The latter have two children, Harry F., Jr., and Margaret Elizabeth, both
attending public schools at Clinton.
