Am looking for information on Julia Lucinda (Hurd) Purdy and her daughter Ida Purdy, both of whom died in Feb of 1863 possibly in McGregor, Clayton Co, IA. Her husband George was serving in the Civil War at the time she died. There were other Hurd and Purdy relatives in the area and possibly one of these families took care of her other daughter Mary, usually called May. Maybe someone might know what cemeteries would be in that area. Thanks.
