I saw Clayton co.,decided to post query here.
Anna M.TenEyck Gray was born 1815 NY,died
1853buried in WI(possibly Lafayette co?)Her
widowered husband Socrates Gray moved to Clay
co.IA in 1870. He died there 1881.Were there
other TenEycks or Grays in Clay co.IA? Why
was Hannah TenEyck,wed 1749 in NJ to William
McKinney, included in the 1975 volume of Iowa
Genealogical Society Surname index? Socrates
and Anna's daughter,Rachel I.Gray was b1846
NY wed George M.Fish,1867 Lafayette co.WI.
