A Heinrich Benke served as sponsor for Heinrich Brüggman's Lutheran baptism at Littleport, IA ... Baptized 12JAN1876 by Lutheran Pastor Johann VOLLMAN near Littleport IA with father: Johann BRUEGEMANN, a farmer, and his mother: Wilhelmina nee HELM. Sponsors: Franz BEEKMAN, Wilhelm MAIER(MEYER), and Heinrich BENKE.

Heinrich was s/o Johann BRUGGMAN & Minnie HELM who emigrated from the Stavenhagen area of Mecklenburg in 1850's ... They had also lived in the Kargow, Mohllenhagen, and Kargow area of Mecklenburg.

A August BENCKE c1842.Hannover\Germany- m Jane HELM c1867 in Clayton Co\IA. His Hannover parents are unknown & he died c1871 in the area of Motor\Reed\Clayton\IA and Jane HELM m2 Deidrich BRAUNS
