Hi Timothy! Frederick W. RICHARDSON was my first cousin, 4x removed. I'm descended from Edna PENHOLLOW's brother,
Richard W. PENHOLLOW (b. 24 Jun 1815 in Eastbury, Connecticut; d. 10 Jan 1892 in Mallory Twp, Clayton Co, Iowa). I'm curious if you have more information on the BARTLETT family. I know that Richard W.'s daughter Amanda Melvinia's (b. 10 Jan 1846) 2nd husband was William James BARTLETT.
I'm trying to tie up some loose ends in my database, and have some old letters from my GG Aunt, Addie Loudema (PENHOLLOW) ISENBERGER to an "R.D. BARTLETT", in 1934. The letter seems to indicate that R.D. was the son of Amanda Melvinia (PENHOLLOW) and William BARTLETT. It also mentions William BARTLETT being close friends with a couple of HARRISON men who were my GGG grandfather and GGGG Uncle (Obed and Vincent, twins). These families were all pretty linked up, it seems. Do you have any leads for me?
