NORWOOD NEWS:
S.C. FERGUSON received a telegram from Fostoria, Iowa, last Friday that his daughter, MRS. HEPSIE HANSON, was dead. MRS. FERGUSON was with her during her illness.
Born to GEO. SEFRIT and wife, a daughter.
MYRTLE EASTMAN of Chariton visited here recently.
PEARL WALLACE began teaching school at the Lang School House on the 3d inst.
GEO. ROBBINS of Chariton put up a windmill for R.O. MILLER last week.
WHIT CLORE, ROB MILLER and JAMES SNUGGS, each have a sick horse.
Word came from Kansas that MRS. ALFRED TERRY had died at her home near Lost Springs, Kas. She was a resident of this township about thirty years ago.
EFFIE WALLACE went to Carlisle last Saturday to begin teaching near there on Monday.
MYRTLE COWAN of Chariton went home Thursday of last week after nursing JENNIE EDWARDS through a severe spell of sickness.
WM. PATTERSONs moved to their farm near New Virginia last Saturday.
DRS. BOWN and SPIKER were professional callers here last Sunday.
Elder GEO. MILLER preached at the U.B. Church last Friday night.
HENRY BRINEGAR is painting his barn, tool house, granary, woodhouse, corn crib and wagon shed.
Rev. SCULL of Chariton was a business visitor here last week.
