My great grandmother was Catherine (Kit) Keegan - born 4/18/1841 Ormstown Canada. Died 4/29/1920 Lawler, Sta[;etpm Township,Ia. Married to my great grandfather James Edward Murphy - he I believe was born Ireland - no date. She was a mid wife and quite a charater from what I have gotten from aunts and cousins that have collected info through the ages. They had 11 children. That is about all I have on the Keegans.
I live in Iowa and have traveled to Lawler and the surrounding area many times to visit the local graveyard and town. I am really just getting started on this so am new to digging up ancestors. Any help you can give would be appreciated.
