Ireland, m. Mary Donahue and immigrated 1849 to NY, then Racine County , WI and finally Lawler, Chickasaw, IA. He died 1866 in Lawler. 8 children: Mary m. O'Bryne, Michael, Patrick, Bernard, Rose, Peter and Bridget m. Charles Reilly. Hugh had several brothers--Michael m. Margaret, John and possibly James m. Rosa.
