I looking for the ancestors of Sarah Agnes Long, born Dec. 27, 1843, England, died Nov. 18, 1915, Mason City, Cerro Gordo, IA. Buried in Old Chapin Cemetery, Franklin Co., IA. Her parents William and Mary Long are also buried in Old Chapin Cemetery, Franklin county, Iowa.
Lived in Canada with parents before coming to the U.S. Her younger siblings were born in Canada.
Spouse: George Tyler, born May 14, 1838, died June 3, 1928, Mason City, Cerro Gordo, IA. Married September 21, 1865, Gratiot, Lafayette Co., WI. Farmed near Rockwell, Cerro Gordo Co. IA and Sheffield, Franklin Co., IA.
Children: Sarah (Sadie) Jane Owens , May Etta Tyler (died at age 6), John Albert, Emma Lewis, George Henry, William T., Anna B. Hall, and Mary Margaret Platts.
