Trying to see if there really is a connection to this person. All information so far seems to point to a connection, but have nothing that really states there is. This Margaret SOMMERVILLE married a Jonas P. COLBY in Wisconsin in about 1858. They moved to Iowa, Jonas died. They had a few children. The 1900 federal census shows her liuving alone inb Clear Lake. I have found her grave site. She died and was buried in Clear Lake cemetery in 1917. One of her sons, William, was buried in the same grave in 1940. Now I need the date of her death to get a death certificate. The only thimg I can think of is to try and call the cemetery to see if they have any record of it. Any ideas??
