I note that you have not had a reply to your query on line.
I checked my copy of the book and found neither name.

However, I did find in my copy of the county history published in 1980 a sketch submitted by Daisy Cannon and one titled: Six Generations of Clarks. It begins: "The John and Mary Kendall Clark family came to Cass County in 1856." It states that they had 13 children.
