Family today: James' third son, Robert, is my Great Grandfather. Robert moved to Nebraska, after my Grandfather, Clarence James was born. Clarence served in WWI, and he was engaged, as was my grandmother. They met, while Clarence served in England. When he returned...his fiance had married another. He wrote to my grandmother & to her family...and, he arranged passage, for their marriage in Montreal, so she would be a citizen when she entered the US. After the three children were born, Clarence moved to North Dakota. He served again in WWII, as a flyer in Europe again, and as an instructor in Chicago, IL, and Florida, for Navy training. My mother was his secretary, while my father served in the Army, in the Philippines. JAN 1946, my parents married in Chicago. Lived in North Dakota a year, and then moved to GRAHAM land in Nebraska, where I grew up. Now, I am living in San Diego, CA (and, I have lived here for the past 29 years).
