I'm looking for information on the Happe Family. Arrived in the U.S. in abt 1865 from Brazil. Parents list their place of birth as Prussia. In the 1880 census of Carroll Co., Iowa. Frank was 56, Catherine 62, Frank A. 24 brn in Brazil., Peter 21 brn in Brazil, Mary 16 brn in Brazil. By 1880 my gr grandmother Catherine Elizabeth Happe had already married Engelbert Bernard Warning. Warning was an Americanized WANNING.
She was brn December 11, 1853 in Petropolis, Brazil, S.A.
