Elizabeth MCGLYNN (McGlin) (1860-1936), daughter of EDWARD McGLYNN born 1 Sept 1828 Ireland, died 1 June 1887, Boone County, Iowa, bur Sacred Heart Cem; and Annie Murphy b. abt 1838 Ireland, d abt 1879 Boone County, Iowa; 5 known children and 1 probable additional child;
This EDWARD McGLYNN (1828-1887) had a brother PETER McGLYNN b. 15 Aug 1824 Ireland, d. 14 Oct 1904 Boone County, Iowa, bur Sacred Heart Cem; md Julia Daily (1829-1911); 5 known children. Children of Edward and Peter McGlynn intermarried with a Patrick GARVEY family of Ireland and Boone Co., Iowa.
Peter and Edward McGlynn said to be sons of Edward McGlynn and Julia Butin of Kildglass, Roscommon County, Ireland
Elizabeth McGlynn (1860-1936) mentioned above md 18 Sept 1888 in Boone Co. Iowa to Charles Foster MCCONNAHEY, born 4 July 1860 in Morocco, Newton County, Indiana [per family records], or in Missouri per census records; died 1 Jan 1920 in Boone Co, Iowa, bur Sacred Heart Cem there; his parents are unknown to us.
Charles F McConnahey [misspelled in many ways in census transcriptions] may have been related to Samuel McConnahey b. abt 1822, PA, d. 1862 in Newton County, Indiana and his wife Elizabeth Hooke b abt 1830 d 1870 (census and cemetery records).
