My great uncles name is Harry Nelson. He was married in 1921 and was killed in a train accident in Boone in 1926. The only thing I know about him is his wife's name - Dorothea Anderson and, according to my grandmother, they had two children. His children would have been born between 1922 and 1926. My grandmother also told me their names were Jack and Jill - I don't know how accurate her information is but she kept insisting Harry and Dorothea had two children.
I haven't made contact with any Nelson's in Boone yet. I just received the article about Harry Nelson's marriage to Dorothea Anderson. That article confirmed part of what my grandmother had told me.
The Harry Nelson is the son of Ferdinand & Mary Nelson - they were from Denmark.
