The Waterloo Daily Courier (Waterloo, Iowa) > 1945 > September > 21 featured a photo of Betty and said that she had reported for general nurse duty with Adm. Lord Louis Mountbatten's East Asia command headquarters in Ceylon.
Ralph ANDRES married Eleanor CHRISTENSEN on June 12, 1947, in Glencoe, IL. He graduated from State University of Iowa (Iowa City) in Feb 1949. By September 1949 they were residing in Rockford, IL.
