According to the records compiled in the 1970's by the Benton County Historical Society, it was located in sec. 1, Canton Twp, "located in a field west of road about 1 mile east and 1 3/4 miles north of Shellsburg (owned in 1972 by J.A. Kropuenske)" They noted only one stone remaining, and one burial remembered:

[first burial in this cemetery, 1840]
