I am a volunteer for The Wahoo Family Network, through "On Eternal Patrol" <http://www.oneternalpatrol.com> We are trying to find family and friends of the Sailor, Edward Eugene MASSA. He was lost on the submarine USS WAHOO, Oct. 1943 in northern Japan. Last month the Naval Dept. declared it is the submarine lost in 1943.

Edward Eugene MASSA, listed his parents: Mr. & Mrs. Dominick MASSA, of Jerome, IA, as his Next of Kin. He entered the U.S. Navy from IA. He is also honored as a WWII Honoree, by a Pearl Arlene HOTTEN GILLESPIE.

We believe the family consisted of: MASSA - Dominick, (1889-1970), last res: Centerville, IA; His mother's name was Annetta (Anna); Brothers: Frank, Joe, Barney and Francis. In the Soc. Sec. Death Index: MASSA, Frank (1913-2000) of Centerville, IA; MASSA, Barney (1918-1982)

If anyone has any knowledge and information of the above, please contact through this posting, to me personally, or to the above, On Eternal Patrol. Thank You! Sharon
