Our John Davis died 1888 at Lucas CO., Iowa but was buried at Jonesville Cemetery, Bartholomew Co, IN ... with perhaps a different wife?? with parents?? John & Sarah had my ggrandma, Melvina (Mary?Melivna)Davis who married John Quincy Werts, 1879 at Russell, Lucas Co., Iowa. It is possible that one of Melvina's siblings had a son named John W. Davis but find no listings so far. Melvina's siblings, John & Sarah's kids were: Newton Davis (b. 1846), Nelson Davis(b. 1848), Laura (b.1850),Melvina (b. 1855) and
Smith Davis (b. 1859). I have no info on where the siblings went or who they married and would love to know if anyone has info??
