John McCormick b.somewhere in south Ireland in 1840's, married Mary Margaret Nicol from Ballymena, Antrim. At what point he went to America I am not sure, only that he lived in Iowa for a time with his family, where my great grandmother Mary Bridget Theresa McCormick was born in 1879. They later moved to Omaha, Nebraska. John died there in 1906.
Any info would be a huge help!
