In the 1920 census for Omaha, Nebraska, Thomas and Emma Norton are living with their daughter, apparently, Lillian and Elmer Nelson; shows Thomas, age 67, Emma, age 64. Were they taken to Iowa for burial after their deaths? In the 1930 census, Emma Norton is still living with Elmer and Lillian, but the family is now in Multnomah Co., Oregon. Emma is age 75 and a widow in the 1930 census.

Doesn't tell you whether she is buried in Iowa; but I don't find her on any burial lists on the web sites that I can access. Have you phoned the Adams County, Iowa, courthouse just to see if she's buried in that county? They might tell you over the phone, then you can order a burial record. Hope that helps.
