I found some kinfolks on the 1880 census enumerated in
Grove, Adair, Iowa, but do not find Grove on current maps or in the Genweb site. The family I'm interested in Samuel S. Scott, 46, farmer, wife Caroline Thompson McMeans Scott, 45, son Charles C. Scott, age 10 and daughter Laura E. Scott, age 8.

Caroline died in 1898 and Samuel in 1907 but I don't know if they died in Adair County. They had lots of family living in Andrew, Jackson County, Iowa and many relatives buried in the Andrew Cemetery (near Maquoketa) so they may be buried there.
