Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
Hi Todd: Glad you liked my info. Called my sister-in-law in Las Vegas(which is why it took me so long to get back to you)to see if she knew who was the historian on the John Hymas line now, but no luck. Did say she will try and find out when she goes to temple. And, yes, all or most of the Hymas' are Mormon---practising or fallen away. My husband was "Jack Mormon" not practising. I, myself am Catholic. Quite a combo. You didn't say where you are? I am in Washington State. If you would like it, I have a copy of the John Hymas history. In the 60's, the Hymas Family had a family magazine, The Heritage. It took each family line and printed a history of them. Also can send you the family group pages for this line if you like. Then, if you want to do genealogy you will have something to build on. Genealogy is contagious, it starts small and just keeps getting bigger. I'm doing the Hymas family, my fathers family, Jensen and my mothers family, Brandt. Let me know if you would like your info and how to get it to you. E-mail me at email@example.com. Take care, Joan
