Hi Larry. There are five counties in the province of Connaught;Mayo,Sligo,Galway,Roscommon and Leitrim. There was a sept of Hylands in Mayo, who were dislodged from the County Laois area.I think that I have managed to trace my grandfathers brother Patrick to Chicago. The 1880 census says that he was born in Ireland in 1845.This ties in with the birth dates of his siblings eg; 1840/1843/1845/1847/1849/1850 all of whom I have now traced.Do you have my e-mail address as I would prefer to discuss with you privately. Bill
