Hello William:

For Pat(rick) Hyland B 1846 +/- 5 yrs, Co. Laois, with a father forenamed Pat(rick), I found 1 rcd, 1847, Edenderry RC parish.

For Pat(rick) Hyland Sr M ????, Co. Offaly, I found 0 rcds. This suggests 1) The rcd didn't survive. 2) He married elsewhere in Ireland. Or 3) The rcd hasn't been transcribed yet. There are 23 M rcd in other counties in this range, some near Offaly.

There is a Mary Collier 1843 M rcd in Co. Laois. However, without a matching rcd for Patrick, this is almost certainly a false positive.

Hope this helps. Good luck.
