Hi Darren: My mother's maiden name was Heyland. A Dominick Heyland (who died in 1758)is mentioned in a note I have that in 1692 he was a land occupier on the estate of Sir John Rowley's in Ballybrittan in Aghadowey and that his son Dominick (?Richard)was the Mayor of Coleraine in 1746. I have a silver cup inscribed "The Gift of the Master Wardens and Commonalty of Clothworkers, London to Richard Heyland, Esq., Mayor of Coleraine, in the Kingdom of Ireland, 1769". Can you provide me with any additional info on this Mayor of Coleraine? Thanks, Mary
