Hyer Family Genealogy Forum

Hi Greg,
My name is Jeffrey R. Pardo, granson to Edna Hyer Pardo and Grandnephew to Richard Hyer of Warner NH. As you probably know Richards brother Harold Hyer had two children that I know of Martin and Cammie. I have been fortunate to have been given some of Richards work and research on the Hyer family. I currently have in my possession the Hyer Geneology which was put together by my great uncle. I have also an original copy of the NY Genealogical and Biographical Society magazine dating 1940. I have also the Purple Heart that was awarded to Richard in a gold leaf frame on my wall which I prize very much. My family used to take trips up to see Uncle Dick back in the 60's. When we approached the door we would be kept outside waiting for quite awhile. On one occasion we dropped by while he was getting his haircut by the postman, which I thought was odd. Anyway that day has always stuck with me. I have also writings about the Shipper family which he also did work on for my grandmother. I recently visited my Uncles home in Warner. His home is near the Waterloo bridge near a cemetery. Sorry for running on so long but I was quite surprised to see that so many people had the interest in the Hyer family. The writing I have aquired are somewhat specific in the origins of the family and go back to what was believed as the beginning. I'll leave you with one question. I would like to find out more of the Hyer geneology, beginning with Harolds father Walter. Please give me a lead thank you.
Jeff
