Mary HYDEN, Staffordshire, chr. 1794 or 1800?

James MELLOR married Mary -- and had:
Sarah - 02 Apr 1815, Yoxall (my g. grandmother)
John - 09 Feb 1817, Yoxall
Thomas - 05 Apr 1819, Yoxall

An IGI member submission also has:
James MELLOR and Mary HYDEN had:
Louisa - 02 Apr 1821, Rugeley (died?)
William - 25 Dec 1823, Rugeley
Louisa - 24 Dec 1826, Rugeley
Harriet - 08 Nov 1829, Rugeley
Elizabeth - 06 May 1832, Rugeley

IGI christening extraction record:
James MELLOR, s. of John and Mary MELLOR
chr. 12 Feb 1797, Rugeley
Mary HYDEN, d. of Robert and Mary HYDEN (nee ARCHER)
chr. 26 Jan 1794, Rugeley (died?)
chr. 01 Jun 1800, Rugeley

This is the jigsaw puzzle I've put together in order to determine the wife of James MELLOR, father of my g. grandmother, Sarah MELLOR.

Does anyone have this Rugeley HYDEN family in their research in order to prove or disprove the connection to the James/Mary MELLOR of Yoxall (1815-1819)? James/Mary lived specifically in Hadley End near Yoxall which is about 6 miles NE of Rugeley. I admit that the chr. 1800 Mary HYDEN is a tad young to be having Sarah at age 15 but it has happened.

I found no marriage between James MELLOR and any Mary on the IGI in the surrounding general area circa 1812-1816.

Thanks for any help.

Judy McCoy
