Elisabeth Elli Peters passed away Monday, December 14, 2009 in Hampton, Virginia.Funeral Services were held on Friday, December 18, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 2150 Cunningham Drive, in Hampton.Interment followed at Hampton-Veterans Memorial Gardens.
She was the daughter of Hans and Elisabeth Knoll of Dormitz, Germany.She was the oldest of five children.Elisabeth was preceded in death by her mother, Elisabeth Knoll; father, Hans Knoll; sister, Marga Knoll and brother, Sigward Knoll.
Mrs. Peters was the daughter-in-law of the Late Mr. and Mrs. William Peters, Sr. of Madison.
Mrs. Peters leaves to cherish her memory, a devoted husband, Command Sergeant Major (Ret)William Peters; sons, Walter P. Peters, Overland Park, Kansas and Robert G. Peters,Atlanta; granddaughters, Summer L. Peters, Manhattan, Kansas and Elizabeth A. Dunn, Atlanta; grandson, Nichalas A. Rhoads-Peters, Kansas City, Missouri; two great-grandsons, Preston Peters and Julian A. Peters, Manhattan, Kansas; two brothers, Erwin Knoll (wife Ottilie) and Konrad Knoll, both of Dormitz, Germany; and a host of loving sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
