Hyde connections- OH,VA,NC,CT,VT?????

Hi! have a few questions of y'all seasoned Hyde folks out there.

The Hydes I am related to (for sure) came from Ottawa Co. Ohio- they were most likely there from the early settlement times up in the Black Swamp area that is the Sandusky/Fremont area.

I am curious as to where this bunch of Hydes originated.

Seems I have a lot of choices- those from Vermont, Connecticut, North carolina, Virginia.......... and , oh yes, Dinton, England (and all those Clarendon Hyde rumors).

That's an awful lot of places to be curious about so I was just wondering if anyone out there could shed some light on my path.
