ChrisI think your Kinsman HYDES are from the William HYDE line that settled in Trumbull Co Ohio.My line are from Humphrey HYDE of Fairfield CT.The William HYDE line is also from CT originally-Hartford I think.The Humphrey HIDE/HYDE line settled around Farmington rather than Kinsman where you find your HYDES.
Both lines had Ira HYDES & both had family members who moved to VT & NY so they do often get confused & they can be hard to keep straight.
The Warren Ohio Library genealogy room has a lot of info about both HYDE lines & there was a book published following the William HYDE line-it is probably available through interlibrary loan somewhere near you.It is a fantastic resource & may even include the ancestors you are looking for.
