Hello! Please reply within one week of my posting or at:[email protected] as I am on a 14-day trial membersip.I also have stories of a lost title, some Hyde in my past who was disowned or something.HA!Any info. would be helpful if you know anything about:Thomas Turner Hyde the 1st, born sometime around 1800, emigrated to Canada sometime between late 1840s and the late 1860s.Wife, siblings, dates, religion all unknown. His son was Thomas Turner Hyde the 2nd born in England, married in Toronto in apx. 1870 to Sarah Jane Belway ( or Carpenter/Carpentier).Both thier siblings are unknown. He was a millwright, moved to Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, then Pittsburg PA, Chicago IL, then back to Sault.Thomas died and buried there, apx.1905, wife same, apx.1915.Pretty sure they were both Episcopal.Had 10 Children, my g.grandmother eldest, first 3 in Canada:Mary Albertal, Thomas Turner the 3rd, Lottie, William, Eva Jane, Henry, Charles, Florence, Genevieve, and George.Mary Albertal converted to Catholicism when on 12/17/1889 she married an Irishman named Edward Lawless. Many siblings of Mary's emigrated to the U.S.A., settling on the West coast. She settled in Chippewa Co., Michigan with husband and much of his family in 1890.
Thanx-
Gregg Christie
