Albert Alexander Hyde was my great grandfather.
I don't remember banking, but the Mentholatum Co. dividends were a Godsend to my mother when Dad ran off with a missionary. (Dad was not a Hyde, obviously).
My mother got the genealogy bug, and I am the victum of choice in the next generation. If I'm lucky I'll also get the bug and cheerfully extend this forever....But so far, it's a lot of tedious transcription!
On Dad's side (Babcock), it's a mess, lots of names but with shakey research and few sources, so that's where the real work lies.
I've got nearly all AA's decendants, and ancestors enough to mostly fill 17 ancestor charts, 30 per chart.Plus aunts and uncles at every level, hard to count. Only one shakey spot in the Hyde line -judging by the puzzled margin notes.
So far only the Hyde data is entered only back to AA's father, and in AA's mother's line, back (spotily) to 1700. Software is RootsMagic, so GEDCOMs available.
Get back to me.-Ol' Bab
