I'm seeking proof of the father of my William W. HYDE, b. 1793 in NC.Your Benjamin Hyde may be the brother of my William Hyde. There are so many William Hydes that I've not completely identified which one is my William. What I do know is that William Willis HYDE married Sarah Pollard on 26 Aug 1824.He stated he was the son of William HYDE of Lincoln Co., NC. a Rev. War veteran. The only William Rev. listted follows, Military Record:Rev. War, NC #30.86.William Hyde of Macon in the State of North Carolina who was a Private in the Company of Captain Ramsey of the Ret. Commanded in the N. Ca. for 10 months(Transcribed on the Roll of N. Carolina the rate of 33 dollars 33 Cents per annum, commence on the 4th day of March 1834.Certificate of Pension signed this 4th day of Nov. 1836.This war record doesn't prove this Wm. was the father of my Wm.Do you have the siblings of your Benjamin? Please contact me either on the forum or privately. Thanks
