There will be a Dedication of a Memorial Stone for Hannah Leatherwood Hyatt on Saurday, Sept 1, 2007 at Eleven O'clock AM at Maple Grove Methodist Church Cemetery near Waynesville, NC.
Hannah was the wife of Edward Gaither Hyatt and they were the first white settlers west of the Pigeon River in circa 1780.
She died in 1837.
