I'm looking for information on the parentage of Henry Huxley, born in Chester,England on 8 June 1810. Mother's name is Mary. Apprenticed as a "Seedsman" in 1825 in Chester. Fulfilled indenture in 1831, then immigrated to New York in 1832. Moved to Indiana in 1836 and was naturalized there in 1840. Married Laura G Hicks in Patriot,Indiana in 1844. Had a "Seedsman" business in Cincinnati, Ohio between 1847 and 1853. Relocated to Pilot Grove, Lee County, Iowa before 1854; where he remained until his death, which occured in the Portland, Oregon area while visiting some of his children in 1892.
