Hello Estille,
According to the census records my Samuel Hucks/Hux was born in NC (but you know how census records that could be wrong). Samuel is as far back as I have, he was born about 1812, he married Sarah Hall in Greene Co, TN. Some of the census they are in Cocke and Greene Co. I have wondered if he was related to some of the Hux in Greene Co. I have 3 boys for Samuel and Sarah, they are Charles, John and Austin, I have information on Charles and JOhn, nothing on Austin. The Hux daughters married in Greene Co and Cocke CO. TN. The daughters of Samuel and Sarah are: Martha, Sophia (my line), Polly, Myra, Sarah, and Nancy. Martha and Polly are the only ones I don't have who they married. If you have any of the names in your file, would be greatful to hear from you. Feel free to email me at mpofktn@aol.com
