I don't know if we have a connection, but I hope we do. I have a Samuel Hux/Hucks(found him with both spelling)born in NC but lived in Cocke Co, TN and Greene Co, TN. He was married to Sarah Hall. In the 1850 census he is listed in Cocke Co, TN. He also had a son named John Nelson who was born abt 1841 NC. Don't think this is the same Nelson but your Sarah maybe could be Samuel's sister maybe.
