Hi Sherry!
My Irish Huttons are from Counties Carlow and Kildare in Ireland.
Family legend has it that my Edward Hutton's sister migrated to the US, so I guess it's possible there were brothers as well.
My Edward was born c1840 in Kildare, married Bridget Mary Murphy in 1863 in Carlow. Two of their children migrated to Australia.
Hutton doesn't seem to be too common in Ireland at that time so maybe you could start with these two counties. I also noticed a Hutton family in Dublin.
At times the Hutton name has been spelt HAUGHTON - anything to make life difficult.
Good Luck
Toni
