My ancestor was William Hutt born 1835 in Loughton Essex. He was a London police detective and his children were William, Anne, Ellen, Walter, Rachel, Sarah and Alice. I think he had some sort of connection with St Ethelreda's Church in Ely Place.I understand he died falling out of a hansom cab! He may have had a seafaring career as a young man.
