The following is the will of MARY ELIZABETH (HUTTS) CLAYTOR daughter of Wiley P.Hutts. She did not have any children, lived near her niece (my grandmother) & left most of her estate to my grandmother.
I, Mary Elizabeth Claytor, being of sound and disposing mind and memory, do make this my last will and testament, hereby revolking all former wills by me at any time made.
ITEM I. I desire that at my death my body be given proper burial, in keeping with my station in life.
ITEM 2. I give and bequeath to my beloved sister, Sallie Agnes Dillon, the sum of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00).
ITEM 3. I give and bequeath to my beloved sister, Fannie Josephine Holland, the sum of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00).
ITEM 4. I give and bequeath to my beloved sister, Eliza Jane Dillon, now residing in Gray Cliff, Montana, the sum of Two hundred Dollars ($200.00).
ITEM 5. I give and bequeath to my beloved niece, Lillie N. Hogan and her husband James E. Hogan, the remainder of my estate, both real and personal, which shall include all cash in bank and any notes which may be then outstanding due to me, or any real estate of which I may die scised.
ITEM 6. I do hereby nominate and appoint the said James E.Hogan as the Executor of this my last will and testament, with full power and authority to execute the same according, to its true and intended meaning, and having perfect confidence in his judgment and integrity, I direct that the said executor shall not be required to give bond.
In witness whereof I hereunto subscribe my name and affix my seal to this my last will and testament, this 16th day of February, 1925.

This will is in Roanoke County,VA courthouse. Eliza Jane Dillon was my great-grandmother and left for Montana in 1904 to homestead. My grandmother was the oldest child, married, & was only child that remained in Roanoke area. She only saw her mother a few more times. I have some interesting stories written by my deceased Montana cousins that may help some of the Hutts and Dillon researchers and will try to type in as time allows. I also have 6 published obituaries for children of Eliza Jane Hutts Dillon.
