Searching for info on parents of Nancy Hutchison b. 25 Mar 1800 in Kentucky, d 15 Jan 1871 in Clay County, Missouri. She married Joseph Groom 1 Oct 1823 in Clark County, Kentucky. Only reference is in "Portrait & Geographical Record of Clay, Ray, Carrol, Chariton and Linn Counties, Missouri" in which Nancy is described as "the daughter of Col. Hutchison, a native Virginian but early pioneer in Kentucky and hero of Revolutionary fame, having fought with great gallentry in the War of Independence and as Col. of his regiment, cheering his men on to victory." Any information would be appreciated.
