Yes, for the Rachel S. Hutchinson. She is my maternal ggm. I have her as born 1 June 1838 _?_, Ohio: d/29 Dec 1914 Marshall Co., WV. I have her marriage documented as 11 August of 1859 in Belmont Co., Ohio. She m/Frederick EBELING b/1836 of Braunschweig, Germany. He came to the USA in 1854. The were in the Marshall Co., WV area by the 1860 census. Frederick d/Jan 1884 from a mining accident in December 1883. She m/John Hughes 1888. In the 1910 census, she list her father as b/ Ireland. There have been hints, online with no documentation, that her parents were Benjamin and Nancy (Smith). I located a marriage record of a Benjamin Huchinson and Nancy Smith 3 June 1819 in Portage Co., OHIO. And a Benjamin Hutchinson and female 16/26 in the Springfield, PORTAGE Co., Ohio 1820 census. Along with a James Hutchinson. In the 1830 census, James is still in Springfield; however, Bemjamin and family are in Suffield, PORTAGE Co., Ohio In March of 1840 that area of Portage became part of SUMMIT Co., Ohio and are just southeast of Akron. Cannot find either James or Bemjamin in Portage or Summit Co., Ohio in the 1840 census, Because Rachel was in Belmont Co. at the time of her marriage in 1859, I searched the Belmont Co. 1840 census. there was a Bemjamin and family there that would fit the age group that I needed. In the 1850 census, I do not find a Benjamin nor Nancy. However,in Ohio Co., WV (just across the Ohio River from Belmont Co. OH) I do find a Rachel,12, living with a Robert HutchEson 26 b/OH miner, $2000. (I need to do a property research for this fella) There has also been an online hint that Rachel had two sisters. Elizabeth b/a/1833 that married a Samuel Fitch. In this same 1850 census, two houses down from Rachel and Robert, is an Elizabeth and Samuel Fitch. Also an online hint, is another sister Anna b/15 Dec 1835 OH that m/John Greenlee In doing a search for the very early history of Portage Co., I find an Elisha Hurchinson that came from NY to Hiram Twp, Portage. HOwever, cannot find any connection to Bemjamin nor James. Elisha remained in the Hiram area. You had mentioned a connection with Portage and Summit Cos. Thank you for your response.
