The couple lived in Osage Co., KS and had three children there - Effie - 1875, Arthur - 1876 and Grace - 1879. A fourth child, James, is identified as a "step-son". James is was born in 1870 in MO so I am not sure whether he is Louisa's child by a first marriage or an illegetimate child.
