Mr. Keenan: I would love to read your essay on Joseph Hutchison. You may have information helpful to my search in that the Amblers and Hutchisons of Loudoun County intermarried numerous times. They must have had a number of "love-hate" relationships, in that I am aware of a number of law suits between them, usually about land issues.
I am attempting to verify my great-great grandfather's parents. His name was Sidner or William Sidner Ambler. I know he was raised by William Ambler Sr. whose wife was Jemimah Hutchison. (Her father was Jeremiah Hutchison, younger brother of your William Hutchison.) William and Jemimah Ambler were probably Sidner's grandparents. I believe Sidner's father was probably their son, William Jr.
