Thank you for the reply Jeff. I have seen reference to a Hutcheson family in the area, but nothing on Hutchinson. I assume this could possibly be a derivation of the original name, but have found nothing to confirm any relationship between the Hutcheson's and my Elizabeth Ann Hutchinson. I'm hoping someone on the list knows more about this family and can help me find some evidence. It is interestesting that she went by Anne Hutchinson, which is the name of a famous quaker woman in new england a few generations back. I have wondered if she is a descendant of that quaker woman...it would appear she was at least proud of the fact her name was the same.....
